Antique 1930 Oshkosh Wardrobe Trunk. Excellent for storage, as a coffee table, general decor, or pretending you’re Rose aboard the Titanic. This trunk boasts all of its original hardware with the original fancy brass plating intact after all these years. Gorgeous dark forest green covering with ornate metal brass corners and edges. The metal locking clasps (made by the Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company) on the front are in great shape. Able to open and close with no issue. The front lock is not working (no keys included). 6 interior drawers with leather handles. The beautiful blue interior liner is original and fairly clean, with some discoloration consistent with age. 15 vintage wooden hangers included. The leather handle on top of the trunk is intact. Sturdy, strong, and can carry a lot of weight. Wear consistent with age and use.
The trunk has the original plate label from OSHKOSH TRUNKS, INC., Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Also includes the original patent plate label.
